My Coaching Approach

Okay, because I know you want to know, here’s how I coach my clients.

First of all, no two client relationships look the same. What you need is not what another person needs, so I always allow my intuition and your needs to guide how we do this.

Over the years, I’ve studied:

  • Meditation and mindfulness

  • Neuroscience

  • Organizational Behavior

  • Accounting and Finance

  • Business Law (and Constitutional Law, for that matter)

  • Internal Family Systems

  • The Enneagram

  • Astrology

  • Marketing

  • Sales

  • Clifton Strengths

  • Somatics

  • Burnout prevention

  • Productivity

I have an MBA with a concentration in Women In Leadership and an MA in military history, in which I studied gender and race roles, propaganda, and strategy.

And I’ve been a business owner for 15+ years, and I’ve worked with IBM, FedEx, and several other companies I can’t tell you about (dang NDAs!).

So, when you bring me onto your team as your business coach, I’m bringing all of the above knowledge and experience with me.

We Start With Values

Everything comes back to values. So when we start working together, we begin with your personal and business values. This helps you understand where you need to start setting boundaries and how you want to start setting goals for yourself.

I also bring astrology, the energetics of the days of the week, and moon cycles into our work together. We’ll find the creative and energetic flow that works for you based on your unique qualities and awesomeness.

We (Re)Establish Boundaries

Using your values as a guide, we create a roadmap of boundaries. What are you good with? Who do you want to call in? Who do you want to avoid working with? What’s a no-go for you in your schedule?

Boundaries are freeing and aren’t always about saying “no.” Often, your boundaries allow you to say YES.

We Make a Business Plan

Now it’s time to make a plan. Most business coaches just jump in right here, using strategies that have worked for their clients in the past.

Honey, you are NOT cookie dough, and I refuse to use cookie-cutter approaches with you or anyone I work with.

Your business plan is developed based on your goals, your values, and your boundaries. Then it’s time to implement them!

I’m By Your Side The Whole Way

Don’t speak web designer? Know you need to hire an accountant, but you don’t know where to start or how to even approach one? I’ve got you.

Through the implementation phase of our work together, I’ll recommend experts I know and trust to support your business. If you need a translator for more technical discussions with your website, mail system, or beyond, I’m your gal.

You don’t have to build your business alone. I’m here to help you every step of the way. And we can get as woo as you want.
